How Does It Work?
The vacuum skin packaging process involves the following steps:
-
Product Placement: The product is placed on a tray or base film.
-
Film Application: A top film is positioned over the product.
-
Vacuum Process: Air is removed from the packaging chamber to create a vacuum.
-
Heat Sealing: Heat is applied to the top film, causing it to soften and conform tightly to the product’s shape.
-
Cooling and Cutting: The film cools and hardens, forming a secure seal, and the package is cut to the desired size.
