The Buyer’s Guide to Industrial Coating: Configuring the BG Series Ecosystem

Beyond the Pan: The 3-Core Coating Ecosystem

How to configure your BG Series Large-Scale Coater for high-volume production, compliance, and absolute precision.

The "Trinity" of Large-Scale Coating

When handling batches over 100kg, you can no longer rely on a standalone unit. The BG Series is not just a machine—it is a synchronized ecosystem. It consists of three fundamental units working in perfect harmony to achieve flawless tablet finishes, manage massive airflow, and ensure GMP compliance.

UNIT 01: THE HEART

The Main Coating Pan

This is where the magic happens. The main host machine is engineered with specific drum geometry to ensure gentle tablet tumbling without edge chipping, even under heavy batch loads.

  • Precision Atomization: Features advanced spray guns that distribute the coating medium in perfect, micron-thin layers.
  • Variable Speed: Intelligent PLC control allows you to adjust pan speed precisely as the tablet weight increases during the coating process.
UNIT 02: THE LUNG

The Hot Air Inlet Blower

A massive volume of coating liquid requires an equally massive volume of drying power. The Hot Air Blower acts as the lung of the system, supplying heavily filtered, temperature-controlled air directly into the tablet bed.

  • Instant Drying: Rapidly dries the spray medium before it can cause tablet soaking or "twinning" (tablets sticking together).
  • HEPA Filtration: Ensures that only purified, clean-room grade air touches your product.
UNIT 03: THE FILTRATION

The Exhaust Fan & Dust Collector

To maintain a safe and clean environment, the system must constantly breathe out. The Exhaust unit pulls a continuous negative pressure through the perforated drum.

  • Dust Elimination: Captures airborne powder and overspray before it enters your facility's atmosphere.
  • Negative Pressure Guarantee: Prevents cross-contamination and ensures strict adherence to GMP air quality standards.

Modular Scalability: Upgrade Your SOPs

Tailor your BG Series ecosystem to your specific formula and facility requirements with our high-end modular upgrades.

CIP (Clean-in-Place) System

Target: Multi-product facilities requiring frequent changeovers.

Manual cleaning of a 300L+ drum takes hours of downtime. Our fully automated CIP system utilizes high-pressure spray balls to sanitize the entire system in minutes, ensuring rapid validation and zero cross-contamination.

Explosion-Proof (Ex) Cabinet

Target: Formulations utilizing organic solvents (e.g., ethanol-based).

Volatile organic compounds (VOCs) create hazardous environments. We upgrade the entire system with ATEX-rated motors, sealed sensors, pneumatic valves, and isolated control cabinets to guarantee absolute facility safety.

Build Your BG Bill of Materials (BOM)

Not sure exactly what you need? Answer these 4 questions to clarify your configuration:

1. What is your coating medium?

Water-based → The Standard Trio is perfect.
Solvent-based → The Explosion-Proof (Ex) upgrade is mandatory.

2. How many batches do you run per day?

1 batch/day → Manual cleaning is sufficient.
Multi-batch/Multi-product → The CIP system will pay for itself in downtime saved.

3. What is your target batch weight?

This helps our engineers determine the specific BG model size (e.g., BG-150kg vs BG-300kg).

4. What are your local emission laws?

This determines if you need advanced wet scrubbing or secondary carbon filtration in your Exhaust unit.

Don't Guess Your Configuration.
